Today, I had absolutely nothing to do, because I woke up at about 1pm. Too late :/ So later in the day I decided to try out some self-portraiture. I grabbed some liquid love (AKA dutch bros), withstood the heat and headed to Elk Rock Island to take some pictures. Just a fact, this place is accreted terrain, which means it used to be in the ocean, but subduction scraped this chunk of basalt off the Juan de Fuca plate and onto the North American plate as it was subducting under it :) A little geology lesson for ya there! It would make sense because I discovered this place on a mini geology field trip!
The water felt good. Even if it was disgusting. After all, it was 103 degrees out and I had sweat dripping down me the whole time.
Reflect.
WHOOSH.
Crazy hair.
Seen from behind.
Jumping.
I tried to use a drawing of an eye for my other eye, it's kinda low :/ but that's okay :) FYI I might get that tattooed there sometime!
